Snorkeling

With Cool Zanzibar you will snorkel around Mnemba Island – the vast marine conservation park measuring several miles in diameter – the shallow atoll reefs providing excellent visibility. You will encounter here in between: Moorish idols, blue tang, clownfish and many sea-urchins and starfish littering the sandy bottom. To see all these underwater wonders all you need is a pair of fins, mask and our snorkeling guide, who will spot diverse fish for you to see and if you are lucky you will encounter dolphins and turtles.

Our excursion is a half day tour that starts up approximately about 8:00 a.m., when you leave your hotel. The way takes around 30 minutes by car and 20 minutes by small private boat. You will snorkel in two different locations about 40 minutes each and have snacks in between.

If you’re a fan of snorkeling, this is THE place to do it in Zanzibar.
