ATV QUADS TOUR
Our quad tour is a unique opportunity to enjoy the fun of quad biking and discover the beauty of the island interior, visiting the most hidden traditional villages of the island. It allows you to get to unspoiled lands that cannot be reached by car, explore natural environment, meet local people. You’ll get the chance to get to know Zanzibari countryside as it was before the tourism era, where the houses are made from soil and mud, agriculture cultivation is still done by hand and where people continue living happily despite not having access to the inventions of our civilization – no electricity, no TV, no internet – pure nature, pure life simplicity.
Guests will drive off-roads in Kiwengwa area through Bambi villages, where they will be shown mud houses and local agriculture, then through Pongwe forest to finally reach isolated Pongwe beach, where they will be served a fresh juice and relax before hitting the road back. The whole tour is guided by a local guide who will share with you some interesting stories about Zanzibar and its culture.
Visiting local villages lost in the fields of sugar cane by quad is a perfect way to experience authentic rural life in Africa.
On request, you can visit Kiwengwa caves.
The Quad Bikes used on this trip are easy to drive, completely automatic and good for off-roading. Training is conducted before the excursion.

There are two trips per day – each 3,5/4 hours long:- 9:00-12:30- 14:30-18:00
The price includes: quad CAM OUTLANDER 450CC, transfer from your hotel and back, guided tour, water, fresh juice served in a beach bar/restaurant.
Our Advice: We recommend to wear long trousers and sport shoes or sneakers. You can take some gifts for local kids (e.g. sweets, pencils, colouring books etc).
Notice: Valid driver’s license is required, as well as wearing a helmet. Young children can come as passengers.
